Equipment & Instruments

The Centre for Biomaterials, Cellular and Molecular Theranostics (CBCMT) is equipped with a wide range of high-end instruments and equipment to support cutting-edge research in biomaterials, cellular and molecular theranostics, and tissue engineering. These state-of-the-art tools enable researchers to conduct experiments, analyze data, and make groundbreaking discoveries in their fields.

Our equipment and instruments include:
Bioreactors

for cultivating cells and tissues in a controlled environment

Chromatographs

for separating and analyzing complex mixtures of biomolecules

Microscopes

including confocal microscopes and fluorescent microscopes for imaging biological samples at the cellular and molecular level

3D Bioprinters

including high-end Cellink BioX bioprinters and basic bioprinters for fabricating 3D organoids and tissue mimics

Spectrophotometers

for analyzing the optical properties of biomaterials and biological samples

Other equipment

such as centrifuges, incubators, and shakers for various laboratory applications

Our equipment and instruments are maintained by skilled technicians and are available for use by researchers, students, and industry partners. We also provide training and support to users to ensure they can make the most of our facilities. Join us at CBCMT to explore the possibilities of our equipment and instruments and contribute to the advancement of biomaterials, cellular and molecular theranostics, and tissue engineering.

Nothing Beats Good Education For The Betterment Of A Student’s Future

With this addition, centre is better positioned to fabricate 3D organoids, tissue mimics, which will also be one of the key focus areas in coming years. The ongoing projects of the center are funded by both national and international funding agencies. The center also has a strong research collaboration with scientists from leading research laboratories across the globe.
